Yesterday we heard that AT&T will start selling the HTC One X for just $99.99 with a two-year contract on Sunday, which means buyers interested in HTC’s 2012 flagship smartphone will have a chance of taking advantage of a healthy $100 discount for the device.
In the mean time, we have received confirmation that RadioShack will also offer its customers the same discount when buying the HTC One X smartphone. They’d still have to ink a new two-year deal with AT&T, but they’d be better off getting the handset from The Shack in case they plan to take advantage of the retailer’s trade-in program. A RadioShack spokesman said about the trade-in offer:
Also starting on Sunday is RadioShack’s $30-$300 Trade & Save Promotion for extra savings on the HTC One X when a customer trades in their old device. This means any customer who trades in a phone in working condition and purchases a new postpaid handset with a new or upgraded two-year agreement will receive a minimum of $30, and up to $300 for their traded-in device. RadioShack’s $30-$300 Trade & Save Promotion will run until Saturday, August 11.In other words, if you’re trading in a not-so-old smarpthone, that’s still in great condition, you may buy the One X for less than what AT&T will price it in its stores.
Anyone excited about these One X promotions, or are you buying a different Android handset instead?
